This book is written to help, shape, form, and foster a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Through spending quality time with our Savior and Lord, it is how and why the believer growths and develops a personal solid, sound, and strong relationship. Relationships are built and develop from spending quality time with the person who you love the most. If a person truly loves God, He/she will spend that quality time with Him. Someone stated, "Time is money and losing time is losing money". The blessings will not flourish or multiply, unless the individual spending quality and meaningful time with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The fact of the matter is that Lord Jesus Christ is "The Blesser" and a person should have a need, desire, and want to spend time with the one who blesses him/her. Spending quality time with the Lord Jesus Christ is dedicating and committing to worship, prayer, and studying His word. It is not about reading or quoting scriptures, but mediating and fellowship with Him. Having "A Moment with God" is about spending a committed and dedicated time with the Lord Jesus Christ on a daily and consistence, continuous, and constant basis. Psalm 1:2, "But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he mediates day and night". "A Moment with God" is about delighting, which indicates that a person must spend time, cleave, and commit to worship, prayer, and mediating on His word. There is no secret to knowing, loving, and worshiping God, because these things happen when a person "abide in Him and He abides in him/her". John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you". The word abides mean to set up residence or dwelling in the midst of. Through spending "A Moment with God", it is asking, requesting, and praying for the ultimate worship, fellowship, and praise to take course, which is the ultimate resolution of God dwelling in the midst of. This is when a person knows that God is doing more than listening and answering prayers, but He is actually dwelling within the person. Hopefully, through this book "A Moment with God Devotional Book", the individual will develop, learn, and gather principles and concepts of significance value for spending quality time with God that will develop and foster a productive and positive relationship that will yield results. This is my prayer and hope.

This book is written to encourage the believer to seek a deeper relationship with the Lord and the sinner and backslider to come and return to Jesus Christ. John 6:38, “All that the Father giveth to me; and him that cometh to me I will no wise cast out.” (K|V) The devotional book encouraged the reader to come to Jesus Christ. Coming Jesus Christ is indicating we need, desire, and want a relationship with the Lord. He will supply all of our needs when we simply just “Come to Jesus.” It is extremely important and essential that we have sound, solid, and strong relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. My hope is that the reader will be encouraged and find some key practical and spiritual principles help him/her through some trying, difficult, or perplexing times. There is no greater source of power than the word of God. Through receiving the word of God, I hope and believe that the reader will become stronger and able to do what God is calling him/her to do. It is my prayer that reader will discover a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and learn to treasure the richness of His Holy Word in his/her heart.

This book was written from the perspective of life is a journey. The journey is about learning one step at a time. Taking one step day by day is a testament of putting our faith, trust, and commitment in the Lord. The scripture declares that “the Lord orders the steps of a good man”. (Psalm 37:23) Our life is ordered by the Lord, but we must learn and understand that we make choices that altars the path that God has already predestinated for us to travel. The journey of walking through life is essential a faith walk. The book is based on understanding and applying our faith to our life every day. There is a phase in “The Bible” that states, “the just shall walk by faith and not by sight”. (II Corinthians 5:7) We must continue and constantly develop and strengthen the inner man to lead and guide us down the right roads in life. This inner man is called, “the intention of our hearts and minds”. It is more than just having a gut feeling, but the gut feeling is listening and obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us to all truth. My hope and prayers that the readers will continue to grow, develop, and mature into a believer that lives thier life by faith, trust, and love for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thoughts From Heaven Devotional is written from a perspective and hope of encouraging the reader to foster and continue to develop a mature relationship with Lord Jesus Christ. It is my hope that reader will become a spiritual mature Christian that lets thier life be a beacon of light to draw all people to Jesus Christ. The Scripture states, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” (Matthew 5:14-15) Through understanding and grasping the principles of God’s word, a born-again baptized believer can and will become a light in the midst of darkness and uncertain world..
